My First Card In A Box

I've wanted to make a Card in a Box for a while and I finally got the chance. I think it turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself. You can make this card next week at one of the two classes I'll be having.
 Supplies:

Stamps:  Papillon Potpourri, Petite Petals, Flower Shop, Perfect Pennants
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper (DSP): Flower Pot
Ink: Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Lost Lagoon, Night of Navy, Tangerine Tango
Punches:  Pansy, Elegant Butterfly

Here's the card laying flat:

This is the back, where you can write a message:
If you'd like to learn to make this card, sign up for one of the classes next week. You can see details here. Be sure to reserve your spot because spaces are limited. Hope you can come.

And don't forget, all DSP, including the one used on today's card, is on sale this month. Buy 3 packs DSP and get 1 free.

Papaya Collage Bookmarks

We made bookmarks at the Relay For Life fundraiser back in April. I put out some samples, which are shown below, and then the stampers could either copy mine or create their own design. I waited to post these because I was trying to get pictures of some of the other designs (which would have been super easy if I'd thought to take pictures at the class). Since I've been unable to get them, I decided to just show you my bookmarks.

The main stamp set I used is Papaya Collage (retired - sold out). I used Designer Typeset (no longer available) for the letter on the middle bookmark. And the butterflies are from Papillon Potpourri.

Hope I've inspired you to use your Scallop Tag Topper Punch to make some bookmarks of your own. Happy Stampin'!

Simply Sketched Gingham Garden

Here's another card we made in last month's Stamp Club.
The flower is from the Hostess Set, Simply Sketched.  It was stamped with StazOn ink and then colored with ink and Aqua Painters.  The butterfly is from Papillon Potpourri.  We used the direct to rubber technique, which is done by coloring directly on the stamp with Stampin' Write markers.  Then we punched it out with the Bitty Butterfly punch.

Some of the corners were rounded with the Corner Rounder Punch.  Sometimes I like to only do some corners and leave others squared to add to the visual interest.  The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is Gingham Garden.

TSSC 270 Simply Sketched

It's time again for the Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge.  This week's card uses the very pretty hostess set, Simply Sketched.
Colors are Pacific Point, Gumball Green, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White.  I also used my Summer Starfruit Stampin' Write marker to color in the butterfly, which is from Papillon Potpourri.  I used my Aqua Pen to color the other images.

The Designer Series Paper is the one of the new patterns in the Patterns Paper Stack.  While I liked all the old patterns, the new patterns are trendy and fun.  I love how the one on this card matches the Fancy Fan embossing folder.  There's also a Chevron page to match the Chevron e.f. and happily Stampin' Up! kept the Polka Dots, which are always great, but also matches the Perfect Polka Dots e.f.

Here is this week's sketch:
Hope you'll play along this week.  You can link your entry here, which is also where you can see the rest of the design team samples.

Happy Stampin', Sue

TSSC 269 - Serene Silhouettes

Here's my design team sample for the Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge (#269).
This card uses two stamp sets - Serene Silhouettes and Papillon Potpourri.  The scallop border was cut with the Tasteful Trim die and Big Shot.  The ribbon is Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I also used the Bitty Butterfly Punch.  Colors:  Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit, and Whisper White.

Here is this week's sketch:
