Yesterday I showed you two of the projects from this month's stamp club meeting.  This is the third project we made.  It uses Bright Blossoms and Word Play.

If you'd like to make these projects contact me to register for the class on Wednesday, July 25th, at 10:00am  (the second offering of this class).

Reason To Smile - July Club

We made these two projects at stamp club last night.  We also made another card that I will post tomorrow.  The first was made with the candy wrapper die and the second is a card.  I designed them to coordinate so they can be used together or separately.  Both use the Reason to Smile stamp set, which you can get during July for $5 with a $50 purchase.
I am having so much fun with this candy wrapper die!  The twist to close the top is a little tricky at first, but once you do it a few times, it's very easy.

The flowers on the card were stamped on Vellum using StazOn and then the color was applied to the back using a sponge dauber.  This is a great way to make embellishments for your cards or other paper crafting projects.  The embossing on the Daffodil Delight was done with one of the new Delicate Designs Embossing Folders (it's a two pack).  The sentiment came from Friendly Phrases.  In class we stamped it with Melon Mambo ink to make it easier to read.

Hope you enjoyed today's share.  This same class will be offered again on Wednesday, July 25th, at 10:00am.  Contact me to register and you can make these projects yourself.  You can see details on the Classes/Events page.  Hope you can come!

Betsy's Blooms and Blossoms

This card uses Betsy's Blossoms and the Betsy's Blooms wheel.
Card stock colors are Tangerine Tango and Whisper White.  Ink color is Primrose Petals.

I punched the flowers out with the  retired Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, but if you don't have it you could use your Paper Snips to cut them.

Betsy's Blossoms on Summer Starfruit

I used Betsy's Blossoms on this card.  I really like darker colors on Summer Starfruit.  The Concord Crush ribbon is retired, but I think this card would look cute if you substituted Midnight Muse.  What do you think?

Betsy's Blooms

I used the Betsy's Blooms wheel to make this card.  I just rolled the wheel three times on Very Vanilla card stock and then put 1/2" strips of card stock at the top, bottom and in between.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Happy Birthday MDS Style

This card was made using My Digital Studio (MDS) for a very special person whose birthday is on the 4th of July.  I made her a traditional card, too, but I like to make digital cards to send as e-mail attachments -- kind of a bonus birthday wish.  It's easy to do.  Instead of printing the card, just save it as a jpeg.

I started with a pre-designed card and changed it into a birthday card.  I had originally started designing my own card from scratch, but wasn't quite getting what I wanted.  I'm sure you can understand when sometimes the creative juices just aren't flowing.  Then I remembered that I had a whole bunch of card templates in my MDS program from which to choose.  Because I really love designing, I don't usually utilize the templates.  But they are an awesome resource that I really should check out more often.

Hope you all had a very happy Independence Day!!  Guess this could have been a birthday card for the USA, too! :)
