Fall Cards

As November closes out - a couple more Fall cards:

I used the stamp sets For All Things and Fall Fest and the decorative label punch. I also used one of the background watercolor  "blobs" from Work of Art on the bottom card.

TSSC 332 - For All Things

Ever have one of those days where you think you're ahead of the game and you're actually way behind? Went to upload my Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge design team sample and it turns out it was next week's sketch! So, I hustled upstairs and put a card together using the right sketch.
Supplies:
Stamps: For All Things, sentiment from unknown set (could use Teeny Tiny Wishes, but it's a little smaller)
Cardstock: Basic Black,Very Vanilla
Designer Series Paper: Flashback
Ink: Real Red, Daffodil Delight

Here's this week's sketch. Use it to inspire you.

You can link your project and see the rest of the design team samples at the Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge site. Hope you'll play along this week!

Hope you've been having a great week! Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

TSSC 331 - For All Things

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. It features the Stampin' Up! stamp set, For All Things.
Supplies:
Stamps: For All Things
Cardstock: Tangelo Twist, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper (DSP): Confetti
Ink: Basic Gray, Crushed Curry, Tangelo Twist, Pistachio Pudding
Punch: Project Life Corner Rounder

Here's how I did the color on the leaves: I started by doing the rock and roll technique. I inked the leaf stamp with Crushed Curry and then rolled it on the Tangelo Twist ink pad. The line between colors was too distinct, so I tapped the stamp again on my Crushed Curry pad to soften it.

Here's this week's sketch. As you can see, I rotated the sketch for my card.
