Bunch of Blossoms Card

Get ready for a blitz of p0sts using retiring items. The end of the catalog period will soon be here and I have several projects I want to share with you. There are so many great products you'll want to get before they're gone.

We made this card in a Stamp-a-Stack a few months ago.
It was CASEd from a card I saw on Pinterest by Sharon Hashimoto Burkert. I really like the way the Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum go together.

Supplies:

Stamps: Bunch of Blossoms (retiring)
Ink:  Early Espresso, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper:  Patterns Paper Stack – 2016-18 In Colors (retiring)
Punch: Blossom Builder (retiring)

The stamps and punch are available in a bundle so you can save 10% if you buy them together.
Check back tomorrow for another post using retiring items.

Bring on Spring - March NC SU Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the March NC Demos Blog Hop. It's been a while since I've been able to participate, but I'm glad to be back. This month's theme is Bring On Spring. I hope you are enjoying this month's posts and getting lots ideas for your own fabulous spring projects.

This is one of the projects from my March class. We had a great group here Saturday morning and I'll be doing it again Tuesday evening. If you live in the Raleigh/Garner/Fuquay-Varina/Clayton area, contact me if you'd like to come make this and two other fun cards.

As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I periodically get a magazine called Stampin' Success, which is full of great ideas and information. This card was CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from a card in that magazine. Ironically, the article was on CASE-ing. I didn't copy the card exactly, but it is similar.

If you would like to enjoy the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, including getting Stampin' Success, contact me for more details. It's a great way to save on your crafting supplies, makes a little extra cash, or earn some serious money, depending how much effort you want to put into it. I'd love to have you on my team! And, during Sale-a-Bration, choose 2 free sets as part of your starter kit! Ends 3/31.

Here's the inside of the card. I think carrying a little bit of the design to the inside of the card adds a little something extra.  The leaves look tucked behind the flower petals because I used the masking technique (stamped and cut out petals and layered them over the already stamped petals on the card so when I stamped the leaves they didn't stamp where the cut petals were; then I removed the cut petals).

Supplies:

Stamps: Bunch of Blossoms
Ink: Early Espresso, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi
Cardstock:Pool Party, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper (DSP):  In Color DSP Stack
Punch: Blossom Builder
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones, Whisper White Baker's Twine (retired, but now available as Thick Baker's Twine).

I hope you enjoyed today's project. While it's fun to come up with your own designs, sometimes it's good to CASE -- maybe the ideas just aren't flowing, maybe you need a quick idea, or maybe you just like something you see. You can copy the design exactly or use it as a starting point and change it up to make it your own.

As you travel through the rest of the blog hop, you'll find lots of ideas worth CASE-ing. We share our ideas to inspire others so it's nice to get feedback. Please leave comments as you cycle through. Leave a comment on any post on my blog or facebook page and be entered into a drawing for blog candy. Drawing will be held 4/30.

Next Blog

Thanks for stopping by today. You'll head on to Lisa Tedder's blog next. I've included the list of all blog hop participants below.

**Note: some or all of these cards have been CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from ideas I found on Pinterest. I am pointing this out because I don't want to take credit for someone else's ideas. When I post the cards individually, I'll go back and find the original designer(s) so I can give proper credit.
