Team Meeting (inc. savings jar and card)

My upline, Frances Wagner, held a team meeting this weekend and fortunately I was able to go.  We always have a great time at these meetings.  First, Frances went over some information to help us build our business and then we did a make and take.

2013 is Stampin' Up's 25th anniversary and Frances said it would be fun if we could go to convention that summer.  She made us these adorable jars so we could start saving.  She even gave us each a quarter to get us started!  Thanks Frances!

Here are some close-ups so you can see the details.  The idea for this jar came from the founder of Stampin' Up, Shelli Gardner's blog.  Look at the great use of the baker's twine (both tied through the doily and under the pennant).  The Paper Doily die cut really sets off the rosette, which was made with the Designer Rosette Die.  The butterfly, cut with the Butterfly Embosslit, makes a wonderful embellishment for the pennant, which was punched with the Petite Pennants Punch.  The brad is one you can get for free during Sale-A-Bration.  Frances hand wrote Convention 2013 on the pennant, which was stamped with Pennant Parade.

This is the Make and Take that Frances prepared for us.  Isn't it cute?  The stamps are from Fresh Vintage, which you can get for free during Sale-A-Bration, and Friendly Phrases.  We also used the eyelet border punch, Calypso Coral 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, oval punch, scallop oval punch and an Everyday Enchantment brad, which you can get for free during S-A-B.
Want to come to the meetings, stamp, and have a great time with some really nice women?  Join my team and you can!  And during Sale-A-Bration, the starter kit is on sale.  See all the details on the JOIN MY TEAM page.

Want to order the supplies to make these projects?  You can at my online store.  Or, if you're local to the Garner, Raleigh, Fuquay-Varina or Clayton, NC area come to one of my events and order them there.

Fun Filled Team Meeting

When you sign up to become a Stampin' Up demonstrator you become part of a team.  The team I belong to met this past weekend for a team meeting.  We spent time stamping and sharing our creativity.  Below are some of the cards my fellow demos made.  I'm not going to show the ones I made because they will be appearing on my blog later.

This card was made by my very talented downline Debra.  Isn't it great?  Downline means that Debra signed up to be a demonstrator with me.  I am delighted to have her as my downline.  I'd be delighted to have you as my downline, too.

These were made by other demos, who in Stampin' Up lingo are called my sidelines:

These are the team members who were able to come this weekend.  Thanks to my upline Frances Wagner (on the left) who let me use her pictures for this blog entry.  Then clockwise from Frances:  Karel Standish, Debbie Green, Debra Rhyne, and Deb Dobb.  If you're looking for me, I'm behind the camera.  Want to join this group and come to our next meeting?  Contact me or see here for details (and click Join the Fun).

Easter Treats

Here are two fun Easter treats that would be great for an Easter basket or to give to teachers or someone else special.  The orange one holds a mini candy bar.  The one on the right is called a sour cream container.  Just to give you an idea of the size, there are 6 chocolate kisses inside it.

We will be making these two treats in the Easter class on Saturday (some color choice will be available for the sour cream container).

Another Valentine

One reason I love jumbo wheels is that it's so easy to make a background with them.  This card uses the I {Love} Love jumbo wheel, the tree from Valentine Defined and a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes, all inked in Rich Razzleberry.  Card stock is Whisper White and Melon Mambo.

Stampin' Up Close As A Memory

This card mixes the flowers from Stampin' Up's Close As A Memory set with a sentiment from the current hostess set Kind and Caring Thoughts.  It uses the retiring colors Green Galore and Pixie Pink.  The corners of the Whisper White cardstock are punched with the Eyelet Border Punch.
