Birthday Cards using Builder Wheels

Some of my favorite builder wheels are on the retirement list - So Many Stars, Candle Crazy and Birthday.  Here are a couple of cards I made a while ago, but I guess never posted.   Or, if I did, I didn't tag them properly.  I know there are lots of other cards I've made with these wheels, but apparently did not post, either.  I guess there are only so many blogging hours in a week...

The stamp on the top card is from Birthday Bliss, which is retired already.  You could substitute something current.  However, it won't be as easy to find something to substitute for these wheels, so head over to my Online Store and get them before they're gone.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  Happy Stampin', Sue

Builder Wheel Birthday Card

I'm taking a break from Occasions and Sale-A-Bration items to show you this card made with three of the builder wheels.  I love using these.  I used two different polka dot Texturz Plates on the background layers.  A few of the stars have Basic Rhinestones on them for a little extra sparkle.

If you have questions about any items used on this card, please feel free to ask.  These items can be ordered through my online store.

Pennant Punch Party Hats

I have been having so much fun with the new Petite Pennants Punch.  I love being able to use a punch for more than it's intended use and this one is easy to do that with.

I punched the hats from Whisper White cardstock with the Petite Pennants Punch, then used the Confetti stamp set to stamp them with various festive colors and designs.  I used the flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack to punch the pom poms in coordinating colors and I added a basic rhinestone in the middle of each.  I used the Birthday Builder Wheel along the bottom because I wanted the Happy Birthday to be big and bold.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Hope you enjoyed today's share.

Cupcake Card

The retiring product on this card is the Big Bold Cupcakes die set.  I texturized the top with a polka dotted texturz plate (not from the retiring pack) and the bottom with my crimper.  You can use this die set with the cupcake punch to have different size cupcakes on your project.  The variety really opens up the possibilities.

I used the Birthday builder wheel along the bottom of the card.  Did you know they could be used alone?  That's part of what makes them so fun -- you can mix and match them in so many ways.
