TSSC 355 - Butterfly Basics

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. I used the Stampin' Up! set, Butterfly Basics, which is in the Occasions Catalog. There are coordinating framelits, which are available with the stamp set as a bundle. Although the framelits are really cool, I didn't use them on this card because the stamp I chose matches the Bitty Butterfly punch.

Love Cards

With Valentine's Day coming up, I thought I'd share a couple of love cards. The stamps are from the photopolymer set, Countless Sayings 1. Don't look for the set in your catalog, though. It's only available online, while supplies last. The washi tape is retired, but Beach House has a roll of Real Red washi tape which would look cute.

I entered these cards in the Late Night Stampers February Challenge. The theme is Valentines/Hearts/Love.

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. I used the Stampin' Up! set, Countless Sayings 1. This is one of the sets that is only available online. These stamps used to have their own category, but now they are interspersed in the Photopolymer Stamp category. I'll be posting more cards made with this set later in the week.

TSSC 352 - Sheltering Tree, Winter Version

I really love the new Stampin' Up! set Sheltering Tree from the Occasions Catalog! It was the first set I used from my recent splurge (there's a LOT of good stuff in that catalog!) and here I am already using it on a 2nd TSSC card. You can see the other one (a Spring version) here.

TSSC 345 - Gift Card Holder

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. It's a gift card holder made with the envelope punch board. It's super easy to make! The stamps are from Endless Wishes. You probably recognize the rest of the supplies I used, but if not, leave me a comment and I'll reply.

  Here's the back side of the gift card holder open. You can see where I punched it with the envelope punch board.

Start with a 4.5" x 6.5" piece of designer series paper (DSP). I used the Trim The Tree Designer Series Paper Stack. These packs are cut to just the right size - no waste and no little scraps left over.

Punch 3.25" in from each side.

Score the bottom at 1.5" and fold up.

Use Fast Fuse just on the outside edges and adhere. You want to keep the adhesive at the outside edges so that the gift card can tuck down into the pocket.

Fold the top down and tuck the flap under the folded up edge (see next picture).

Crease top edge and make crisp with bone folder.

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. You'll see when you get to the sketch that I didn't follow it very closely. I got the three elements across the top and the sentiment, but after that it's a pretty broad interpretation.
