The NC Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators have another great Blog
Hop for you this month. Our theme is New Catalog (Anything Goes). Check
out all the wonderful projects as you hop from blog to blog -- and don’t forget
to leave some comments.
Remember, new catalog items are available June 1st. On the
flip side - retiring items are only available through May 31, so make sure you
have everything you want off the retiring list before it's gone. I'll be
placing a group order on the 31st and on the 1st, so if you want to be a part
of either, get me your order(s) by 5:00pm on the respective day. Or, order
online using hostess code BWH24ZES (unless your order is over
$150 - then collect the hostess benefits for yourself). Be sure to allow
contact so I can send you a thank you.
I only have one project for you this month. I made it for a
shoebox swap for a demonstrator meeting I hosted last weekend. Sadly, I have
not had much time to play with my new stuff (but even for
demonstrators, sometimes that's how life is). When I get home from vacation I
should have time to really get into the new stuff. In the meantime,
check back later this week to see the other shoebox swap cards.
I may only have one project, but it features several new
products. I've used three of the new In Colors – Dapper
Denim, Flirty Flamingo, and Sweet Sugarplum. The left front panel is embossed
with one of the two embossing folders included in the Floral Affection embossing folders pack. Live, laugh, love is from the new set Layering
Love and die cut with the new Sweet & Sassy Framelits. Oh, Happy Day
is from the new set Thoughtful Banners which is available in a bundle with the
Duet Banner Punch.
You can see this is a fun fold card. The background on Flirty Flamingo is embossed with the Brick Wall embossing folder, which is a current product. I sponged over it lightly with Dapper Denim ink to make the bricks really stand out.
Next is a picture of the card as it is open. Celebrate is from Thoughtful Banners and stamped on a Sweet & Sassy die cut Sweet Sugarplum heart. The Whisper White panel is a place to write your message. I sponged a little around the edge to tie it in with the facing panel and added little hearts with a stamp from Layering Love.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and checking out the blog hop. I invite you to follow me on Pinterest and Facebook.
Pam Staples is the next stamper in the blog hop. I am certain you will enjoy the projects she has to share. To view her Blog, you may click her name or the picture below.

Awesome card! I really love the brick wall and it looks like the heart is almost graffiti against the brick wall for a cool effect.
I too thought of graffiti when I saw your card. Great effect. I love all of the different elements.
Sue I love your card. So glad you made it for our team shoebox swap card. I am lucky to get one.
Sue - love the floral embossing and the brick wall! Great card!
Cute card Sue! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the nice comments. Those who allow replies will get a personal response, but some people don't, so I am thanking you all here, too. I was going for a graffiti feel so I'm glad it came through.
