Happy Halloween - Something Good To Eat

Happy Halloween! I have two cards for you today. I used elements from the Something Good To Eat Kit Paper Pumpkin kit on both of them. This kit is still available for purchase.

Supplies:

Stamps: Something Good To Eat; Jar of Love; Label Me Pretty
Ink: Basic Black, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
DSP: Color Theory
Tools:  Everyday Jars Framelits, Pretty Label Punch
Accessories: Black Rhinestones, Baker's Twine (it was on the Clearance Rack when I made this card, but it appears to be gone now; you could substitute Thick Black Baker's Twine or a color of your choice)

This fall card features the stamp set Colorful Seasons. The leaves are done with the Rock and Roll technique. The banners are made with leftovers from the Something Good To Eat Paper Pumpkin kit and a strip of retired Close to Cocoa, which seemed to match the stripes. Other colors on this card are Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, and Whisper White. I can't tell from the picture, but I think the sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso (or I could have used my retired Close to Cocoa ink pad - either would work).

If you ever need cardstock in retired colors, such as the Close to Cocoa used on this card, please let me know. I probably have some since I have just about every color since I became a demo in 2009. I also have some retired inks available, but the supply is more limited.

Pining For Plaid - Paper Pumpkin October 2017

Have you seen this month's Paper Pumpkin kit, Pining for Plaid? I love it! Supplies to create 10 beautiful shaker cards!! There are 5 each of 2 different shaker cards. And look at the cute plaid lining on the envelopes!

This kit was so popular that Stampin' Up! is making full kits available on 10/23/17.  $17 (plus shipping and tax). I expect these kits will go fast. If you'd like one, let me know by 9:30pm Sunday. If you miss that deadline, you can try texting on Monday morning (be sure to text because I won't see email after the deadline).*

You can sign up for Paper Pumpkin here. As a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can order this awesome kit without going through me after noon (2:00 pm MT) on 10/23/17.*

This kit coordinates with the upcoming November Paper Pumpkin. They each stand alone, so you don't need one to do the other but it could be fun to do both.

Here's how Stampin' Up! puts it: To give you more of what you love, during October and November we’re offering two straight months of perfectly coordinated Christmas cardmaking and gifting projects.  Two coordinating kits means that 1) you will have everything you need to complete unique holiday cards and gifts, 2) you will have more creative options, and 3) you can get that handmade holiday touch without the fuss.

Keep an eye out for a Paper Pumpkin party when we can get together to assemble our kits. More details later. Of course, you can do them as soon as you get your kits if you can't wait.

Let me know if you'd like the November kit and I'll help you get it. You must sign up for it by November 10th.

*The November kit and the Pining For Plaid kit are available to Paper Pumpkin subscribers. If you need help signing up or have questions, please contact me. I am offering to order Pining For Plaid kits for local customers to save on shipping since I'd rather pay 10% ($1.70) than the minimum shipping fee ($6.95). Haven't tried PP before? That's fine. I'll let you know what you need to do to qualify.

Reminder: I'm having a class Tuesday night, 10/24 at 6:30pm. We will be making 3 Christmas cards (one of them is also a gift card holder). I have room for one or two more if you'd like to join us. Let me know by Sunday night.
