Fall Cards

As November closes out - a couple more Fall cards:

I used the stamp sets For All Things and Fall Fest and the decorative label punch. I also used one of the background watercolor  "blobs" from Work of Art on the bottom card.

TSSC 342 - White Christmas

Online Extravaganza starts today. Monday only door busters. Let me know by 6:00pm tonight if you want to be part of a group order. Current hostess code is  DJEBSJMF if you order online.

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. It features the Stampin' Up! stamp set, White Christmas.

 Supplies:
Stamps: White Christmas
Cardstock: Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink Pads and Markers: several colors
Big Shot: Circles Framelits
Punch: 7/8" Circle Scallop Punch, Corner Rounder
Dazzling Details
Here's the inside of the card. I thought the cardinals looked cute in the corner.
Blogger is acting funny right now and I don't want to mess up the TSSC site, so I'm not copying over the sketch. You can see it when you check out the rest of the design team samples at the Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge site. This is also where you link your entry. Hope you'll play along this week!

Fun Packaging - Gift Box Punch Board

The Gift Box Punch Board is so much fun! We made the red and green Christmas box in stamp club last week. The Marina Mist one is made the same way, but with different colors. And fantastic news - the Gift Box Punch Board is 30% off tomorrow (Monday, 10/24). Only $13.96! It's a one day door buster, so don't miss it!

I didn't use adhesive on this box, so when you open it, it's like an explosion box, which is kind of fun.

Above: view of the tag
Below: side view of the box
Here's the Marina Mist box from the top. The tag on this one is a little smaller than on the other box.
Here's a side view. I attached the side flaps on the outside on this box. It kind of looks like the sides of a take out box.
Lots of colors of chevron ribbon, including Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist used on these boxes, are half off (yes, 50%!!) during the Online Extravaganza (11/24 to 12/01/14). The 1/8" Silver Ribbon is not on sale, but the gold one is half off.

Stamp set used is Endless Wishes. It's a fantastic set. Love that font and the way you can mix and match words and phrases. The snowflakes are also part of the set. I used the gold sequins on the tag on the top box, but I didn't think they'd go as well with the Marina Mist.

Be sure to check out the Online Extravaganza page. There are lots and lots of great products on sale!

TSSC 341 - A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. This card became an extra challenge for me this week. It's made entirely of pieces I already had. It started because I saw some trees I'd cut out with the Snowflake Card Thinlits Die, then I found the oval that the trees fit on perfectly, and it just went from there.

Even the card base was already cut. The only thing I did was punch the Lucky Limeade strip with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. The strip was already cut - a 1/2" remnant from making 4" x 5 1/4" pieces to layer on cards. I just had to punch it. The background piece was already embossed with the Chevron Embossing Folder and the Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) was already cut. It was kind of fun - and made me realize just how many bits and pieces I have sitting around. Maybe I should challenge myself like this more often!

Bonus: the Candlelight Christmas DSP is on the Clearance Rack!

Here's this week's sketch. As you can see, I flipped it for my card.

TSSC 339 - Festival of Trees

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. It features the Stampin' Up! stamp set, Festival of Trees.
 Supplies:
Stamps: Festival of Trees
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper (DSP): Flashback
Ink: Garden Green
Dazzling Details
Here's this week's sketch. As you can see, I didn't put anything where the star is. I had planned to put the little cardinal from Festival of Trees in that area, but it just didn't look right. I decided I liked the card just the way it is.
