SAB Product of the Week - Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP

Get this beautiful Specialty DSP FREE with $50 purchase (before shipping and tax) through March 31, 2015! Shop here. Current Hostess Code: JKWWAVAW
Last week at Stamp Club I showed the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP. I think the white on white is beautiful for elegant projects, like wedding cards or favors. Then I tried to explain how you could color the DSP and when you wipe off the ink, the glossy parts are white again. My explanation wasn't very clear, so I was thrilled when I saw this post on the Stampin' Up! blog:

Sale-A-Bration Product of the Week-Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper

Sale-A-Bration is more than just our biggest sales event of the year, it’s also the perfect time to introduce you to some of our newest products! We thought there was no better way to do that than by showing you just a few of the possibilities you can make with these fantastic new products. So without further adieu, we want to introduce you to this week’s Sale-A-Bration product of the week—the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper.

This paper is so much more than meets the eye! The glossy designs look great alone or they will “resist” ink, making them really fun for techniques. Try it with spritzers, brayers, sponges and more. You’ll find that this paper can be used with any style, from bold and bright to elegant and subtle. Try a technique class with your friends where everyone can play with this paper and fall in love with it like we have! With unlimited crafty possibilities, this paper is simply a must-have for everyone’s paper stash.

TSSC 321 - Something for Baby

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. It features the Stampin' Up! stamp set, Something for Baby, and the coordinating Baby's First Framelits.
Does this look a little familiar? I knew I had used this stamp set and framelits in a previous TSSC challenge, but I didn't realize how many of the same supplies I'd used until I uploaded this one to the computer. I needed a card for an upcoming shower and so I was focused on that. At least now I've got the card I need (and the other one for the next shower I get invited to). Just for kicks, you can see the other card here.

Supply list:
Stamps: Something for Baby, Cuddles and Kisses
Card stock: Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper (DSP): Moonlight Designer Paper Stack
Ink: Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon
Big Shot: Baby's First Framelits, Circles Framelits, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder
 Here's this week's sketch.

And here's the way I finished the inside. It's not overly fancy, but I think the booties are a cute touch. The sayings are from Cuddles and Kisses, which unfortunately is retired.

Link your project and see the rest of the design team samples at the Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge site. Hope you'll play along this week!

Check back tomorrow for the new Weekly Deals! Still time to get this week's specials. Order Online or contact me to be part of this afternoon's group order.

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. It features the Stampin' Up! stamp set, Something for Baby, and the coordinating Baby's First Framelits.
 Supply list:

Here's this week's sketch. As you can see, I modified it a little, but it's pretty close.
Link your project and see the rest of the design team samples at the Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge site. Hope you'll play along this week!

This card is also an entry for the Late Night Stampers Challenge 250. The theme is Celebrations. It's another great challenge to try. My regular readers may remember I was a guest design team member on that challenge for a while.

Peek-a-Boo Card - Something for Baby

I belong to the Stamper's X-press group, which has its own blog. When I saw Kelly Gettelfinger's post about a Peek-a-Boo card, I went upstairs and made one right then. Because we share demo info, the blog is only available to demonstrators. But good news! If you join my team, you can be part of my group and several other groups. Plus, you'll have access to the Stamper's X-press blog.
From today, through 6/30, you can join Stampin' Up! for only $50. With that, you get so much!

*Certain restrictions apply; see your demonstrator for details.

So what are you waiting for? Head over here and join my team today!

    Peek-a-Boo Card:

This is the Peek-a-Boo card I made. I used sneak peek items Something for Baby stamp set and Baby's First framelits, which I got as a bundle.

I also used some retiring items: Peekaboo Frames Die (25% off), Tasteful Trim Die (25% off), Cuddles and Kisses stamp set (40%0ff), Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper (DSP), and 3/16" Corner Punch (25% off)

Current items: Petite Pairs stamp set, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Circle Punches: 1/2", 3/4", and 1 1/4"

No longer available: Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine
When you pull the tag/Baker's Twine, it pulls over and opens up to reveal the hidden messages (hence the name Peek-a-Boo).
     This gives another view.
Here's how I finished the inside:
I don't know how many times I've thought, I can't believe Stampin' Up! is getting rid of that! This is true of several items on today's card. I'm glad I've got everything off the retired list that I want, but it's too bad I can't use the items in classes anymore. This would be a great card to show my stampers!

On the bright side, I'm excited about all the new products! Less than a week until the new catalog goes live!!
