Triple Treat Card

This card uses the Triple Treat stamp (available FREE through midnight tonight as a Sale-A-Bration freebie or for purchase from the big catalog), the fancy flower punch, the five petal flower punch (the leaves), the scallop oval and large oval punches, the itty bitty shapes punch pack and the cropodile (in the corners), and the ticket corner punch.  The sentiment is from the retired set Because I Care.

Flirtatious Fabric Card

I am really loving making cards with Stampin' Up's Designer Fabric.  Here's one I made with the Flirtatious fabric and my Big Shot.  You can get the Flirtatious fabric for FREE through March 31 (that's tomorrow!) with a $50 (before shipping and tax) order.  Or, you can purchase it for $9.95 (Item no. 122335).  There are 3 different pieces and each one is 28" x 18".  You can get a lot of cards out of a piece that big!

It's hard to tell in the picture, but the fabric adds a very elegant look.  I used the Scallop Circle # 2 die to cut the fabric with my Big Shot.  The I used the Big Shot and the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder to emboss the Blushing Bride background layer.  The element in the center of the fabric scallop circle was punched with the Doily Triple Layer punch (one in Whisper White and one in Blushing Bride) and then I added a basic pearl jewel accent.   The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

You can order all of the supplies used in this card and any other Stampin' Up products you may need through my online store.  I appreciate your support!

Mixed Bunch Cards

I made this card using Mixed Bunch and the coordinating Blossom Punch.  I really like the strip from the Tasteful Trim die behind the flower.  It just gives the card a little extra something.

I actually made the above card back in January but am just getting it posted now.  A few weeks after I made the card above, I made the card below for a color challenge.  The funny thing is, I didn't even remember the first card until I was putting out samples at my next event.   Guess I just really like this layout :)

Anyhow, you can see how the same layout can have a totally different look and feel just by changing the colors.

Fun With Fabric

I have just recently discovered the joy of card making with fabric.  I started with the Twitterpated designer fabric and had so much fun that with my next order I decided that I just had to get the Flirtatious designer fabric for free (with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration).

Last night I was fortunate enough to have a party at my friend Karen's house.  We had a large crowd and a great time!  Since Karen enjoys sewing I thought it would be fun to use fabric on the card we made.  Here's what I designed:

I just LOVE the torn fabric look.  Plus, it's perfect for me since I never could cut fabric straight.  If you'd like to learn how to use fabric in your cards, please join me at my upcoming class.

Supplies:

Stamps:  Mixed Bunch (Occasions Catalog), Fresh Vintage (free during S-A-B)
Punches:  Blossom (Occasions Catalog), 3/4" Circle
Flirtatious Designer Fabric (free during S-A-B or available for purchase in the big catalog)
Card stock:  Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Ink:  Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight
Embellishments:  Basic Rhinestones

Remember, Sale-A-Bration ends March 31!  Get your free stuff while you can!  Shop online or contact me to place your order.  Each $50 purchase (before shipping and tax) gets you one free item from the S-A-B brochure.

Medallion Rosette Card

I just love making these rosettes (sometimes called lollies)!!  You can make this card at my upcoming class on 3/24 or 3/28.  See details here.

Stamps:  Medallion background (115223), Three Little Words (113252)
Cardstock:  Always Artichoke (105119), Calypso Coral (122925), Marina Mist (119682), Whisper White (100730)
Designer Series Paper:  Paisley Petals (122367)
Classic Ink:  Calypso Coral (122939), Marina Mist (119668)
Accessories:  Twitterpated Designer Buttons (125579), Hemp Twine (100982), Boho Blossoms Punch (119858), 1" Circle Punch (119868), Simply Scored (122334)

I also used SNAIL adhesive (104332) to assemble the card, except as noted.  I used Stampin' Dimensionals (104430) to attach the rosette and a Mini Glue Dot (103683) to attach the button.

You can order all of these supplies through my online store.  I appreciate your business!

When ordering, please remember to double check that the item name matches what you are ordering.  I'm only human and even though I've double checked the numbers, it's very easy to transpose a number or accidently look at the wrong line :)

Doily Triple Layer Punch

This is the birthday card I made for my niece.  I know some of the colors are retired, but the card is so pretty and bright and makes me smile -- just like my niece :)

I love the way the Doily Triple Layer punch layers so that you see the different colors peeking through.  This card could definitely be re-done in current colors.
