Bright Blossoms and One In A Million Note Card

We had such a good time at club last night and again today. Here's one of the cards we made. It's the smaller note card size (3 1/2" x 5").

I decided to post this one first, because Stampin' Up! demonstrators have chosen today to thank Demonstrator Support (DS). DS is the awesome bunch of folks who help us demos whenever we have a Stampin' Up! related issue. So, if you've seen the hashtag ‪#‎weloveDS‬ now you know what it's all about.
I thought this card was appropriate because above and beyond is where DS usually seems to go.
Supplies:

Stamps: Bright Blossoms (retiring), One in a Million (retiring)
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Ink: Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz
Embellishments: Gingham Garden Washi Tape (retiring)

Edit 4/24 - See the Retired List page for an update of items that are gone.

Time's Running Out - Best of Flowers

Today's cards feature the Stampin' Up! set, Best of Flowers. Best of... sets are only available until 3/31/14, so be sure to order any you want. Each set is $14.95. Collect the 25 sticker from 6 sets and get a free stamp set ($14.95 or less). Buy 4 sets (or any other $50 or more purchase) and get the Distressed Dots embossing folder, which was used on the top card, for free (SAB selection, ends 3/31).

The "above & beyond..." stamp is from One in a Million. On the inside is the coordinating stamp from that set, "...that's where you always seem to go!" I like how each stamp in this set is paired with another coordinating phrase.

This second card is a 3 x 3 notecard. Yes, Stampin' Up! sells envelopes to fit.

Here are all 12 sets, one for each month of Stampin' Up's 25th anniversary year. Get yours before they're gone!

TSSC 301 - One in a Million

Here is this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge sample:

Stamps:  One in a Million
Cardstock:  Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper (DSP):  Sweet Sorbet (Sale-a-Bration item)
Ink:  Baked Brown Sugar
Ribbon:  Baked Brown Sugar 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim
Big Shot:  Houndstooth Embossing Folder

One in a Million is a cool set, because the stamps are in pairs.  So, the front of the card says, "You mean SO much to SO many people."  The stamp that goes with it says, "{One of them is me.}"

I put the other stamp on the inside of the card.  When I get ready to send it, I'll add a sentiment that matches the occasion.

Here is this week's TSSC sketch:
Head on over to the TSSC website to see the rest of the design team samples.  Then use the sketch to inspire your creation and link it at the bottom of the TSSC post.

Don't forget - TODAY IS THE LAST DAY for the My Paper Pumpkin Promotion.  Sign up here and remember to choose me, Sue Root, Raleigh, NC as your demonstrator.  You'll get a free thank you gift from me, plus be able to come to the Paper Pumpkin Party where we'll assemble our kits and make a bonus card.

Baby Prints Hand Prints

Here are a couple of cards using the Baby Prints stamp set.  Today's cards use the hand prints from the set.  The Designer Series Paper is Gingham Garden DSP.

 Colors:  Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Sentiment is from Baby Prints

We made this card in stamp club last month.  Since the card wasn't being made for a specific baby, we used yellow and green so the card could be used for a boy or a girl.

Colors:  So Saffron, Certainly Celery
Sentiment is from One in a Million

P.S.  If you're looking for the TSSC challenge, remember that it's going for two weeks this time.  This is a great one to participate in because Mary Jo is giving out blog candy!
