Links to pdf lists:   Accessories    Stamps
You can see pictures of the items in the Stampin' Up! store You can also order here.

Edit - now that my blog post feed has gone out, I am streamlining this page to make the blog easier to read. You can see the retired items by selecting one of the options above or by visiting my Retired List page.

As of this edit, many in color items are sold out (particularly card stock). The Backyard Basics stamp set is also gone. I'm not planning to update this page, so go to the Stampin' Up! store to see which items are still available and to place your order. Some items will go fast - don't wait too long!

TSSC 311 - Serene Silhouettes

I'm so excited...the Retirement List will be announced later today! Edit: It's here. See a list broken down by category on my blog or see the retired list section in my online store. Well, excited might not be exactly the right word. Anxious, maybe? It's always kind of bittersweet. I hate to see beloved products go, but I know their departure makes room for exciting, new products. I just hope none of my very favorites are on the list. Be sure to check back later today to see which items will be going for good. In case you haven't heard - ALL items on the retirement list will only be available while supplies last (this includes stamps, which is new this year).

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. It features the Stampin' Up! stamp sets, Serene Silhouettes and Banner Greetings (hostess). The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is Epic Day.

Here's this week's sketch. Use it to inspire you!

Link your project and see the rest of the design team samples at the Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge site. Hope you'll play along this week!

Happy Watercolor Sympathy

As you know, we often don't get much notice when we need a sympathy card. Here's a quick, one layer, sympathy card I made using the Stampin' Up! sets Happy Watercolor and Blessings From Heaven. I rounded the corners on the right side, but left the folded (left) side corners squared.

I hope you won't have a need for a sympathy card. If you don't, change the message and you've got a cute card good for just about any occasion.

Retiring Products list will be announced 4/21! Free standard shipping on all orders 4/21-25! See details on tomorrow's blog post.

Stampin' Up! + Project Life

Have you heard the news? Stampin' Up! is partnering with Project Life to bring us some awesome memory keeping products! The following is from Stampin' Up!:

Get ready for a scrapbooking revolution with Project Life! It helps busy people (so basically all of us) document life using photos and journaling in a quick, simple, and fabulous way. We've partnered with Becky Higgins, creator of Project Life, to offer a complete line of elite products.

Becky explains, "It's called Project LIFE because it's about YOUR LIFE. Whatever your life is. Whatever your stage of life. Whatever your family circumstances. Whatever your lifestyle. Project Life is designed to help anyone and everyone get their pictures into a book."  In a nutshell, it's all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them.

Why Project Life?

• Coordination, coordination, coordination. You know we do it best, and our Project Life line is no exception.
• Our products center on things that matter most-weddings, babies, kids, and the everyday moments of getting together with your favorite people-all things that need to be remembered.
• Our card collections come without rounded corners so you can decide if you want to keep them that way (and match the corners of your photos as they come) or use our Project Life Corner Punch to round them out.
• Our card collections come packaged in an exclusive storage system that holds all your Project Life supplies on your desk: cards, journaling pens, photos, accessory packs, stamp sets, and more.

You’ll be able to order a selection of Project Life products starting May 1! And with the launch of our new annual catalog on June 2, you’ll be able to buy from our complete line of Project Life products.

Can’t wait that long? Stampin’ Up! demonstrators will be able to order the limited selection starting April 21. So if you’re a demonstrator make sure to check the demonstrator website that day; if you’re not a demonstrator, sign up and you can order the products early too!

Here are the items you’ll be able to purchase on May 1:

Here's a video explaining the partnership:

Weekly Deals - 4/15

Here are this week's Weekly Deals. I see a lot of stuff I'm going to have to get. Of course, when don't I? LOL I've already gone through at least one pack of Venetian Romance DSP. Might as well get another at 25% off. It's also time to get more Anywhere Glue Sticks. Somehow I missed the Natural Chevron Ribbon in the catalog...but I'll quit writing so you can look for yourself :)

At least I don't have to buy the Big Shot items. I already have those ;)

TSSC 310 Golden Oldies

I needed to make a card for a 50th birthday party and I needed to do my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge - and I didn't have time to make two cards. So, I used the TSSC sketch for the birthday card - and made it to the surprise party with time to spare.

Since it was a 50th, I wanted to make a humorous card, but really had no thoughts on what to do. So, I did what any stumped stamper would do - I searched the Internet. That wasn't a big help. Fortunately, I remembered the retired Stampin' Up! set, Golden Oldies. I pulled it out and started putting the card together. The sentiment is kind of hard to read due to the angle of the card, but it says, "My mind not only wanders - sometimes it gets lost completely."

I still have my old Blush Blossom marker, which I use for coloring people, but I decided not to color this guy. I was thinking he'd look pasty, like now that he's old, he never makes it out in the sun (I'm not that saying that older people don't make it out in the sun, of course, but for some people their outdoor time does decrease as they age). Since he's so white, I'm not sure I got the look I was going for. Oh well, it works.

Speaking of coloring stamped images, Stampin' Up! will be introducing a new set of alcohol based markers called Blendabilities. They will come in 12 Stampin' Up! colors, plus a clear blending marker, and a set of skin-toned colors ranging from ivory to mocha. There also will be an ink pad designed to work well with the markers. Each of the sets in SU colors will include three markers ranging from light, medium and dark in that color. That's pretty much all I know about it right now. I'll keep you updated as new information is announced.

Supply List:

Stamps: Golden Oldies (retired), Morning Post Numbers (retired)
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Sahara Sand, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Night of Navy, Real Red, Sahara Sand
Big Shot: Starburst Framelits
Embellishments: Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (retired, but now it's available with white stitching down the center), Basic Rhinestones

Here's this week's sketch. You can link your entry and see the rest of the design team samples on the TSSC site.

Remember to check back tomorrow for the new set of Weekly Deals.

Have a great week!

Butterfly Card

We had a great time this morning at the Stampin' Up! fundraiser I put on for Relay For Life! Special thanks to my friend Karen Kline, who helped with the event.  And thanks to my friend Karen O'Connell, who supplied half the participants. The group was varied in both age and skill level. The teenagers really got into being creative and it was fun to see where that creativity led them. I wish I would have thought to take pictures!

This clean and simple (aka CAS), one layer card was the easiest of the four projects we made. Since the sentiment came from Teeny Tiny Wishes, the participants could choose whichever message they wanted.

We used the Simply Scored tool to make the decorative lines. Then we used the Butterfly Punch to punch butterflies from retired In Color Patterns Pack Designer Series Paper (DSP) and lined them up between the lines.

We used the Note cards and envelopes set for this card, so it is 3.5" x 5". The card is CASEd, but I can't remember where I saw it.

I'll post more of the projects next week, so be sure to check back. And thank, again, to everyone who participated in the Relay For Life fundraiser.

Easter Card - Blessed Easter With Fringed Grass

Reminder: Relay For Life fundraiser is tomorrow! Details here. Hope you can come! For planning purposes, if you're planning to be there, could you let me know? Thanks!

This is such a pretty stamp for Spring cards. Of course, it's great for Easter cards like this one, but it can also be used without the sentiment to make it more versatile.

I love the Fringe Scissors in the Occasions Mini Catalog! If you don't have them - get them! Seriously! Love them! (Getting the idea yet?)

Supplies:

Stamps: Blessed Easter

Ink: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Early Espresso

Card stock: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Whisper White

Accessories: Fringe Scissors
Big Shot: Square Lattice Embossing Folder

I entered this card in SU Only Challenges. The theme is Easter this week.

TSSC 309 Happy Hour and Petite Pairs

Here's my design team sample for this week's Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge. It features the Stampin' Up! stamp sets, Happy Hour and Petite Pairs.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is Eastern Elegance. It's such pretty paper and I love the colors!

Here's a picture of the inside - the second half of the Petite Pairs pair and a stamp from Happy Hour. Colors on this card are Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, and Whisper White.

Here's this week's sketch. Use it to inspire you!

Mixed Blessings Rolo Treat

We made this cute little treat in stamp club. It's made with the Mixed Blessings stamp set and the Blossom punch from Stampin' Up! The flower center is a Rolo.

Here are a couple different views.

The bottom picture shows how we finished the back. The sentiment is from Blessed Easter. You could easily change the sentiment to give these for any Spring or Summer occasion.
